Kirk Racing Roll Cage - E36 (92-99 3 Series)

Kirk Racing constructs this E36 roll cage for added rollover safety and on-track protection for drift, HPDE, or wheel-to-wheel racing. A bar or cage is also the only way to safely add 6-point harness restraints. Comes in either bolt-in or full weld-in installation versions and race-quality DOM steel construction. Door bars require welding which allows for some custom fitment for race seats and interiors.

This design is based on SCCA, BMW CCA, NASA, and other race organization requirements for a 6-point cage but may not meet all of the minimum requirements. You may need to add additional bars to satisfy the rulebook for your class. We encourage you to check with your sanctioning body if a Kirk cage is suitable for your series. A Kirk cage fills the need for a basic cage at a reasonable price. Kirk cages are designed to fit a car with a full interior. In our experience, custom cages can be made to fit better, closer to the body sheetmetal, and built around your seat location and harness anchors. Custom cages by a vehicle/marque specialist are also likely to be better engineered for the specific chassis - stronger in weak areas and properly built for the load requirements of the suspension and body.

The non-sunroof version is taller and should be selected when the factory sunroof assembly has been completely removed. If the sunroof cassette remains in place, select the with sunroof option.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for custom construction depending on workload.

Shipping is via truck freight, not included in the price, and collected on delivery. Please call us if you need a freight quote for a roll cage. Freight on a roll cage is typically $250-400, depending on location and specific delivery address. 

Orders will be charged when placed and may not be canceled. Roll cages are made to order, based on your car and the options you choose. This is why cancellations are not allowed. 

Expedited delivery is not available. Please allow added time for these build-to-order cages to be produced. Roll cages are very large, heavy and bulky, requiring a palletized load. For this reason faster delivery is not available.
