Complete kit to retrofit the LCI Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel to earlier pre-LCI G87 M2, G80 M3, G82/G83 M4. This is a complete kit with all hardware and trim.
This is the flat-bottom Alcantara steering wheel found on later M3 & M4 models (LCI or facelift) with automatic transmission and shift paddles. This wheel can be retrofitted to earlier M2/M3/M4 models. The new wheel is slightly smaller in diameter and features the flat rim along the bottom, improving leg room and giving a more racy aesthetic and experience to the steering controls.

The original pre-LCI airbag and the center button panel are the same but some of the trim around the wheel is different. No other additional parts or coding is required* with our kit. We do include a few extra pieces of hardware that you may not need - we don't want you to be without a crucial bolt and leave you without a steering wheel!
*the steering wheel heater button was moved to the iDrive widescreen for 2024. The flat-bottom wheel does not have a provision for the heater button. 2021-2023 cars with steering wheel heat will lose this feature until a solution can be worked out.
This is a Genuine BMW M flat-bottom steering wheel with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
