Programmable button panel for racing steering wheels on G87 M2, G80 M3, G82 M4 that does not have the optional ACC (Active Cruise Control).

A vehicle hub adapter is required and sold separately. The Zestek adapter is linked below and is our recommendation. Any hub adapter should be compatible but must have access for the Zestek wiring connectors to pass through and have clearance for other Zestek features.

For Pre-LCI models only. This includes cars in the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 model year which were before the LCI / facelift changes were made. Not for cars after the 2024 model year. 

Each control is fully programmable using Zestek software on your Windows PC or laptop via a USB-C connection. You have access to everything on your stock BMW multi-function wheel - and more! Program the M1 / M2 buttons, horn, radio volume, cruise control, and anything else from your stock wheel. You're not losing any functionality switching to a race wheel and gain personalization over other racing button wheels on the market. The push buttons can be color-coded through the software and color-coded decals are included for other controls. Pictogram, text, and alphanumeric labels are also included.

Using one of the optional Zestek modules you will be able to map the controls to other existing functions like the HUD, iDrive menus, ECU map switching, etc. These modules are under development and price is TBD.

Note: Zestek makes button panels that work with either the OEM CAN or an aftermarket CAN (such as AIM or Motec), but not both. This will not control your radio volume and toggle your AiM dash with the same Zestek controller. This particular product is for the OEM vehicle CAN only. Contact us if you want a Zestek hub for your aftermarket CAN / ECU.

* paddle shifters are included, even for manual transmission cars. The paddles can be removed or be programmed as controls.

** OBD connection is wireless via a dongle plugged into the 16-pin OBD port. This is an ongoing development and not all data from the OBD port will be available to the wheel at this time. The OBD port can only support one dongle at a time so if you use the port for data logging, a dash display, or any other peripheral it cannot be used for the wheel.

We cannot guarantee it will conform to all federal, state, or local regulations for required vehicle safety equipment and we do not encourage its use in any motor vehicle subject to state safety inspection. The mounting hub is a solid, non-collapsible design that may cause serious bodily injury in an accident. Removing the airbag is a serious safety risk and should never be done when stock 3-point seat belts are still in use. 4 or 6-point racing harnesses must be used instead. The smaller wheel rim may block the stock instrument cluster depending on seating position.
