Our Spec3 Performance Chip by Epic Motorsports is an optimized tune for the Spec3 engine and exhaust rule requirements. This chip retains your 6,500 RPM rev limiter and removes the top speed limiter. The intent is to provide software that doesn't affect engine reliability while making your Spec3 car more fun and more competitive in mixed-class fields.
Our Spec3 Performance chip is the specific chip allowed in the NASA Spec3 class, and no modifications to the code are allowed. All chips have the same programming - non-EWS version will require cutting the green wire at Pin 66 on the ECU plug for any 1995-production cars.
The Spec3 chip fits both 413- and 506-model ECUs.
Chips are delivered on a decoder board and must be installed as a unit with this board. Broken decoder boards will be replaced ($50 cost) upon return of broken board only.
