This is the compressor only - located in the spare tire well in the trunk. Reuse the original wiring, lines, and mounting points.
The rear suspension of X5 and X6 uses airbags and a pneumatic system to set and maintain ride height. This is the air compressor used to fill and maintain pressure in the system. Make sure you have no leaks in air lines or in the airbags themselves. If the compressor fails to turn on or cannot reach the correct pressure (with no leaks), the compressor could be suspect.
