This suspension package combines Bilstein B8 sport shocks with H&R Sport springs designed specifically for the E30 325iX AWD models. H&R Sport springs drop the 325iX by 1.2 inches front and 1.2" in the rear. With a lowered ride height and stiffer spring there is less bodyroll in turns and better weight transfer. The ride height gives a raked look and aggressive stance. H&R springs are progressively wound - they get stiffer as they are compressed and are stiffer overall than Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline. If you're looking for the most aggressive spring that still retains some ride comfort, the H&R Sport are the choice for many enthusiasts.
Bilstein shocks are a Sport setting that work really well with the higher spring rates for the H&R Sport springs. Although not manually adjustable, Bilsteins have digressive valving that will self-adjust to your driving and suspension motions.
