Front Guide Support Upper Part, OEM - E70 X5, E71 X6

Front Strut Mount Upper Bushing for E70 X5 and E71 X6. BMW calls it the upper guide support. This foam piece sits on top of the strut mount and provides a little more isolation and vibration absorption. They are well-known to break down and fall apart, leaving behind a crumbled mess on top of the shock tower. There is a matching lower piece that may also need replacing (BMW #31336776389).

A urethane alternative is also available (part #PFF5-1430, see Related Items below). Urethane will hold up much better than the original foam and it has a lifetime warranty.
