This is the allowed set of shocks and springs for the NASA Spec E30 (SE30) racing class until the 2021 season (eligible for 2018-2020 seasons). It also makes for a super-aggressive and capable street or light track suspension. This set uses Bilstein Sport shocks with H&R Race springs. The Race springs lower the car more than a typical Sport spring and are about twice as stiff. This will greatly reduce bodyroll and let you corner flatter and faster than stock or Sport springs. Although they can be used on the street, the ultra stiff spring rate is intended for smooth track surfaces.
Bilstein shocks are a Sport setting that work really well with the higher spring rates for the H&R Race springs. Although not manually adjustable, Bilsteins have digressive valving that will self-adjust to your driving and suspension motions.
