Front Strut Hardware Kit, BMW - F15 X5, F16 X6 (with Adaptive M suspension)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 31352475201 (31 35 2 475 201) and is described as a hardware kit for a front strut replacement on F15 X5 and F16 X6 with the optional Adaptive M suspension (option code 2VF). This is the perfect complement to a new front strut replacement as it includes nearly all of the hardware that can be replaced*.

Do I need new hardware? Yes… The factory BMW torque spec for these bolts is to tighten to a specific torque value and then tighten an additional specific amount. The additional tightening will stretch the bolt and help ensure it does not become loose. Unfortunately, the stretch means the bolt is 1-time use and it will not take another tightening without compromising its strength. These bolts will likely fail if re-used!
