Front Upper Strut Mount, Genuine BMW, 5-Bolt - F22, F30, F32

Front struts/shocks on the F22 228i, F30 328i/335i, and F32 428i/435i are mounted to the chassis with this front upper strut mount. It's a dense rubber mount that also incorporates a bearing that allows the strut to rotate as the steering changes. Over time the rubber breaks down and the bearing wears out and the entire mount should be replaced.

Not for cars with Adaptive M suspension.

Important Application Note: this strut mount uses 5 mounting holes for M8 bolts. This design was changed partway through the 2016 calendar year from 3 mounting holes for M10 bolts. They are not interchangeable. If you car was produced 2017-2018 this is the correct mount for you. If your car is a 2016 model year we suggest checking your current strut mount before ordering.

This is a Genuine BMW F22/F30/F32 front strut mount with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
