M Performance Front Left Carrier/Upright - G01 X3, G02 X4

BMW calls this a front Pivot or Swivel Bearing and it's also known as a wheel hub, carrier, spindle, or upright (our preference). All of the front suspension and brakes attach to this cast aluminum piece. This is the M Performance version which adds more negative camber than the standard upright. This version should be standard on M Performance models such as the X3 and X4 M40i but can be used as an upgrade for 30iX models.

We don't know how much more negative camber will be gained with this upright (the parts and the model are too new at the time of this writing) but our best guess is around 0.5-0.75° of negative camber.

Adding negative camber is recommended when better handling, cornering, and turn-in response are desired. However, as this is a fixed camber setting, additional inside tire wear should be expected during normal road use.

This is for the LEFT side and should only be used with the matching right side upright (part #31216882596).
