This rear shock mount package includes all parts for E34 self-leveling delete as well as standard parts for a rear shock replacement.
This kit serves two purposes -
– for converting rear self-leveling (SLS) suspension to a standard shock and spring arrangement for E34 540i and M5 (Touring models may need different parts depending on conversion)
– and as an overhaul for the standard suspension on non-self leveling models for when installing new shocks
This kit uses a mix of Genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts to give you a cost effective and complete E34 rear shock mount overhaul. Included in this package -

*this is included for SLS delete to join two hydraulic lines together before the regulator. You can then remove the regulator, accumulators, and associated hoses. You can also use the joiner to to connect hoses closer to the pump and eliminate more lines before the regulator. Depending on the combination of hoses and fittings you may need a second joiner or a different M10x1.0 fitting. Some bending of lines may be required. Installing a 535i power steering pump is a better overall option but it has been discontinued by BMW and most other suppliers (contact us to check the latest availability).
