This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 31306868240 (31 30 6 868 240) and is described as the gasket between the front upper strut mount and the sheetmetal strut tower on 2012-2015 F22 2-series, F30 3-series, and F32 4-series (F3X).

This is the gasket for the 3-bolt strut mount that fits cars made up to approximately 12/2014. Cars made after 1/2015 use a 5-bolt strut mount. If your 2015 model year car was built in 12/2014 or 1/2015 we recommend counting the number of bolts to verify.
