Front Tension Strut Bushing (FCAB), Lemforder - F25 X3, F26 X4

This is the OEM Lemforder rubber bushing for the front tension strut on the F25 X3 and F26 X4 (including M models). The tension strut is also known as the thrust arm, upper control arm, or pull rod, and is the forward-most control arm on the F25/F26 chassis. The bushing does a great job of isolating bumps and rough roads, until the rubber breaks down or loses its elasticity. Worn X3/X4 bushings will affect the ride, handling, and steering of the car and can also cause clunking noises and vibrations. To restore steering precision and taught handling, replace the tension strut bushing at the first sign of wear.

Fits left or right. Sold individually so order 2 for both front control arms.

An outer ball joint (BMW part #31106787665) should also be replaced when the tension strut arm is off the car. See link below.

This is an OEM tension strut bushing manufactured by Lemforder - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other bushings and mounts. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
