Front Hybrid Control Arm Bushings (FCAB), Ground Control - E46 M3

These E46 M3 Delrin/Aluminum front control arm bushings (FCAB) are built for racing and track use where a solid mount is needed to eliminate deflection. Deflection in the rubber bushing causes unwanted alignment changes, delayed reaction to suspension inputs, and sloppy steering feel. A stronger/stiffer bushing is strongly desired for serious track use. Thanks to rigid materials unwanted alignment changes from bushing deflection are eliminated.

The Ground Control E46 M3 Delrin FCAB is made up of four pieces: aluminum outer housing, Delrin liner, Delrin sleeve, and aluminum insert. The inner aluminum insert is able to rotate within the housing as needed. Other single-piece Delrin bushings do not allow the bushing to rotate which may pre-load the bushing. Since Delrin is self-lubricating this bushing has very little wear and maintenance requirements.

Because of the solid material, these bushings are recommended only for track and race use. Installation and use on a street-driven car is not recommended.
