Front Left Control Arm, BMW - F48 X1, F39 X2, F44 2-Series Gran Coupe

This is a Genuine BMW left front control arm (aka wishbone) for 2020-2024 F44 2-Series Gran Coupe, 2016-2022 F48 X1 and 2018-2023 F39 X2 models (UKL2 chassis). The control arm includes the outer ball joint and a inner rubber bushing. The control arm itself does not go bad but the bushing and/or ball joint will. Worn F48/F39 bushings will affect the ride, handling, and steering and can also cause clunking noises and vibrations. To restore steering precision and taught handling, replace the control arms at the first sign of wear.

BMW does not sell the bushing or ball joint separate from the control arm. A complete arm must be purchased. However, we also offer urethane bushings for more slightly more performance that also come with a lifetime warranty. See Related Items below. A bushing at the back of the control arm should also be replaced at the same time (BMW part #31126882843).

This is a Genuine BMW control arm with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
