Front Right Upper Tension Strut, Delphi - F8X M2/M3/M4

This is the right front upper control arm used on F80 M3, F82 M4, and F87 M2. Also called a tension strut or thrust arm by BMW. This is the complete arm inclusive of the inner bushing although we strongly suggest our sealed monoball upgrade for this position (see below). Pre-installation of the monoball into the arm is also available.

The inner bushing is often replaced when the rubber degrades over time or from rough pavement. The bushing can no longer dampen suspension movement and you end up with a steering vibration, imprecise steering feel, and sloppy handling.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many suspension components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
