Front Left Upper Control Arm, OEM - E63/E64 645ci/650i/M6

The Thrust Arm, also known as the radius rod, upper control arm, or tension strut, on your E63 645ci/650i/M6 is an OEM direct replacement to the original BMW arm. It includes the inner hydro-elastic bushing and the outer ball joint for a complete and total replacement. Replaces the thrust arm on the driver side.

The hybrid rubber-hydraulic inner bushing on the original arm naturally wears prematurely, causing sloppy steering, poor tire wear, and jolting or instability during braking. The ball joint in the arm can also become worn and cause bad handling and wear, so we always recommend checking it along with the bushing and lower control arm (wishbone) when diagnosing issues.

NOTE: For even better handling and performance, we recommend Powerflex polyurethane bushings as an upgrade.

This is an OEM E63 control arm manufactured by an original supplier to BMW for this part (Lemforder or TRW), as well as many other suspension components. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
