Rear Trailing Arm Bushing (Inner or Outer), Meyle - E82, E9X, E84

Factory-spec rubber bushing for the inner or outer location of the lower trailing arm on E82 1-series, E9X 3-series, and E84 X1. Fitment includes 1M and M3. The trailing arm is the leading control arm in the rear suspension (made from folded sheetmetal).

A worn control arm bushing will cause the alignment to change beyond the required spec and affect tire wear. A really bad bushing will even affect toe alignment in a straight line, not just in the corners. Drivers will often note that the rear of the car does not feel planted or complain of wandering or loose feeling as the car no longer tracks straight down the road.
