Front Subframe/Control Arm Hardware Kit, BMW - E60 M5, E63 M6

When removing the front subframe, such as for rod bearing replacement, new hardware may be desired. It's not required and there is typically no issues with re-using these nuts and bolts for re-assembly. But sometimes new hardware is needed and this Kit is a complete set that covers the front subframe, wishbones, and tension struts*.

* - this kit does not include the outer ball joint nuts. To remove the subframe, you can leave the control arms connected at the wheel hub and only remove the inner bolts and nuts. With this method there is no popping of ball joints and no risk of damage to ball joint boots. A link to new nuts is under Related Items below, if you need them.

There front undertray/reinforcement also uses bolts to connect it to the subframe. However, since those can easily be replaced at any time we did not include them in this kit. There is a link to the bolt in the Related Items listed below.

These are Genuine BMW bolts and nuts with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
