In addition to its original applications, we use this bolt on Spec E46 race cars in the power steering supply hose to the pump. The original E46 bolt has an internal check valve. If this check valve jams it will stop oil flow to the pump, disabling your power steering and potentially destroying the pump. This Banjo bolt has no check valve and is a safety upgrade.
