KONI Active/Eibach Suspension Package - E46 330i 328i 325i 323i

This complete KONI shock & spring package is the 1999-2005 E46 sedan (323i, 325i, 328i, and 330i) and 2000-2006 E46 coupe (323Ci, 325Ci, 328Ci, 330Ci) and consists of KONI high performance Active shocks and struts paired with Eibach PRO-Kit lowering springs. The Active shock uses KONI's patented FSD technology to variably and immediately adjust the shock stiffness based on suspension movement. The shock uses a stiff setting on smooth roads or very slow suspension movements (cornering for example) and that gives it more control and better handling. But it automatically switches to a softer setting for rapid suspension movements such as a rough road. This keeps the ride comfortable and not jarring or harsh like a shock with fixed or progressive damping.

KONI partnered with Eibach to match these shocks with the PRO-Kit lowering springs. The PRO-Kit is their least-aggressive spring option that delivers a lower ride height and stance but with more livable spring rates than other performance springs. PRO-Kit springs will lower your center of gravity, reducing squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nose-dive under braking. But progressive spring rates are chosen to be only a little stiffer than a factory sport spring. There is less of a compromise to the handling than a factory sport suspension yet still a comfortable ride.
