Stainless Steel Rear Shock Tower Reinforcement Plates

Our Stainless Steel Rear Shock Tower Reinforcement Plates may seem like simple part, but they go a long way to protect the integrity of your rear suspension and chassis.

The rear shock towers are a well known weak spot on all 3-Series BMWs built from 1984 to 2005. The shock towers are thin sheet metal which fatigues over time and begins to crack. This problem is normally caused by the common failure of stock rear shock mounts, and it's magnified with the added stresses of a performance suspension.

Our reinforcement plates can be bolted in place to prevent this damage, or they can be used as repair plates to bring your rear towers back to life after damage has occurred.

Sold as a pair. Plates are 1/8" thick.

Fitment for all E30, E36, and E46 3-Series. Fitment on Convertible models will require trimming of reinforcement plate.
