This power steering pump is for cars WITHOUT the Active Steering and WITH Dynamic Drive systems. If your BMW has active steering this is NOT the power steering pump for your car.

This pump is rebuilt by Maval. Price includes a $222 core charge. Core must be returned in manufacturers packaging to be returned for core credit. 

Fluid note: new pumps are designed with seals compatible with Pentosin CHF11S or EHF. ATF or similar "Power Steering Fluid" should not be used. Mixing CHF and ATF is not recommended and may lead to premature failure of the seals, pump, or rack and void the warranty. A complete flush of the entire steering system is recommended. We strongly urge you to add the CHF label to the cap on your reservoir (BMW part #71212122171).
