Tie Rod Boot Kit, Rein - E46 325xi/330xi

The tie rod boot is a simple protective cover for a very expensive system on your car: the steering rack and linkage. This boot exists to protect the inner ball joint on the tie rod, retain grease for the rack, and prevent outside debris from entering the rack. A ripped boot (sometimes called a gaiter) can spell bad news if left un-repaired. It's an easy replacement, and if done carefully, does not require an alignment after. 

Sold individually. Fits either left or right side of the car (driver or passenger side). Be sure to order two if you are replacing both front tie rod boots on your 325xi or 330xi.
