Front Upper Spring Perch - E82 E90 E91 E92 E93 E84 X1 (E30 Drop Hat)

This is the E82, E90, E91, E92, and E93 front upper spring hat / perch (drop hat) used to locate and isolate the coil spring from the chassis. This sits between the top of the spring and the strut mount. Because of its location it gets blasted with all kinds of road debris and moisture and its not uncommon for these to rust and potentially fail. This is a Genuine BMW direct replacement.

Sold individually. 2 required per vehicle.

These can also be used as E30 Drop Hats on E30 318i/325e/325i/M3 models to lower the front ride height an additional 15mm. The coils are the same shape but this plate reduces the stacked height (reducing shock travel as well). Note that some combinations of strut and adjustable camber plates will not work due to the deeper plate design.
