Power Steering Pressure Hose, Meyle - E36 323is/328i

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 32411093461 (32-41-1-093-461) and is described as a Pressure Hose for Power Steering on E36 323i, 323is, 328i, 328is (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999).

The E36 6-Cylinder Power Steering Rack to Pump Hose is an aftermarket replacement hose for connecting the power steering rack to the power steering pump on your E36 323i or 328i. 

This is a common failure item noted by slight to excessive leaking on/around the house. 

This runs from the power steering pump to the steering rack. At either end is a hard metal line secured with a hollow bolt and copper crush washer (sold separately). The hose has extra length so the system can have more fluid capacity. Unfortunately it has a lot fittings where rubber hose meets metal line. These fittings are compression crimp-style swage ("swedge") fittings that are very common in the automotive world. These swage fittings are the most common area for PS leaks on your BMW. It's easier to replace the entire line with a new OEM or BMW part than to try and repair the line.
