Power Steering Pump, BMW - E9X M3 Early (Built Before 05/2008)

Not for cars after 4/2008 production. 

This is a Genuine BMW hydraulic power steering pump, with BMW part number 32412283041 (32 41 2 283 041). It's ONLY designed for the early (pre 5/2008) E9X M3 production cars. It will not work on any model year after 2008, and will not fit on cars made after 4/2008. Hint: this pump spins clockwise; the later pump spins counter-clockwise. Please be sure to check your production date on the driver's side VIN plate, or call us with your VIN if you are unsure. 

All PS pumps wear and eventually fail, mostly due to running with low fluid level, dirty fluid, or overheating. Failing PS pumps generally get noisy, causing groaning sounds when turning the wheel. Once the pump fails it will leave your car undriveable without the benefit of power assistance.

This is a newly manufactured pump, not a rebuilt. There is no core charge.

This is a Genuine BMW M3 PS pump with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
