This bearing was used on many BMWs, including E24, E28, E30, E32, E34, E36, and Z3 Roadster/Coupe models (E36/7 chassis). 

Note on E24/E28 fitments: Not for 5/6 series cars before the 1986 model year. There was an earlier style setup on cars before 9/1985 production. This steering column spindle bearing / bushing is made ONLY for those cars built 9/1985 or later (the 1986 model year and up).
