LF-30 Power Steering Pump, OEM - E36 323is/328i, E46 325i/330i

Updated power steering pump for E46 325i/330i that results in slightly more steering feel and feedback than the original LF-20 pump. After complaints from owners that the E46 steering was overboosted and too light, BMW released this LF30 pump. Enthusiasts will appreciate this pump's slightly higher steering effort.

If your car is already equipped with the LF-30 pump, this is a direct new replacement (not remanufactured).

If you are upgrading to this pump you also need the LF-30 power steering hose, BMW part #32416764725, new o-ring, brackets, and crush washers. It would also be a good time to replace the supply hose and possibly the reservoir too. The OEM pump no longer includes the brackets and they must be purchased separately.

This is an OEM PS pump manufactured by either LuK or FZT - both are original suppliers to BMW for this part, as well as many other steering and driveline parts. As the OEM these pumps meet all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
