Power Steering Cooler, Genuine BMW - E82 E88 E90 E91 E92 E93

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 17117522119 and is described as Genuine BMW Power Steering Cooling Loop (the Factory PS fluid cooler) for many E90, E91, E92, E93 chassis BMW 3 series (including 325i, 328i, 330i with and without xDrive), as well as the E9X M3 models and E82 128i. 

This added "loop" of power steering hard line serves as an oil cooler to help keep the power steering fluid from getting too hot. It can get damaged or fail, causing a power steering leak or complete loss of power steering -- a dangerous occurrence.
