Power Steering Pump Supply Hose, Cohline - E36 M42 1/1994+ (32411093116)

This Power Steering Hose is a high quality replacement hose, made by Cohline, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to BMW. Its job is for connecting the reservoir to the power steering pump on M42 16 valve 4 cylinder engines, as found the 318i, 318is, and 318ti (E36 chassis) built after January of 1994 (1/1994). This include later production 1994 models (01/94 and on), and 1995 models in sedan, coupe and convertible body styles. 

Please note, this hose is not for BMWs built before January 1994. 

This hose supplies the power steering pump with fluid from the reservoir. BMW calls it an "intake manifold" or "suction pipe". The hose can also swell over time, causing a leak, and the hose must be replaced. A crimped hose clamp was originally used but this can expand and cause an PS fluid leak as well. We recommend a 18-24mm premium hose clamp instead.
