This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 32427582947 (32 42 7 582 947) and is described as a replacement pulley for the power steering pump on 2011+ E82 135i, E90/E92 335i, and E84 X1 35i models with the N55 single-turbo engine. This is the factory plastic pulley.

It is essential to inspect this pulley for any signs of failure any time you have access to it (belt change, intercooler change, or any time the undertray panel is removed. Cracks can form in the plastic or the belt grooves can chip. If left unattended the entire pulley can shatter and send sharp plastic throughout the engine bay.
