Tie Rod Assembly, Front Right, Lemforder - E46 M3 - 32112228786

This is an OEM Lemforder front right tie rod assembly for all 2001-2006 E46 M3. This is a complete tie rod, including the inner and outer pieces. While it's technically possible to replace only the outer ball joint it's our experience that the inner sees just as much wear as the outside and they should be replaced together. Worn tie rod ball joints will give a loose and disconnected steering feel as well as clunking sounds. Since the tie rods are the only direct link between your steering wheel and the wheels it's crucial to inspect tie rods annually, or more often on track-driven cars. Replace the tie rods if any play or wear is evident.

This tie rod is manufactured by Lemforder - the original supplier to BMW for this tie rod as well as many other suspension and chassis components on your M3. It has a two year warranty. Tie rod boot sold separately (see below).
