Powerflex PTFE/Silicone Grease Packet

Official lubricant for Powerflex bushings is a Teflon (PTFE), copper, and silicone blend that does not react with urethane and is waterproof. All Powerflex bushings are supplied with this grease packet so you won't need to order it with new Powerflex bushings. But for any normal maintenance or vehicle prep this is the official grease. A recommended alternative is the Super Lube synthetic grease available at many home improvement and auto parts stores (Super Lube is the brand name). Any kind of anti-seize is not recommended due to incompatibility of the chemicals with urethane.

When assembling or re-greasing the bushings, apply the grease to all surfaces that do not touch air. This includes all bores and flanges that are within the arm or housing. Using grease on the outside of a bushing will just attract and retain debris. Wipe away any visible excess grease once installed.

Order one packet for most pairs of bushings. For example: order one packet for two front control arm bushings. Order two packets for a set of 4 rear subframe mounts.
