Powerflex Urethane Rear Subframe Mounts (Complete Set) - E39 525i/528i/530i/540i/M5

These performance urethane E39 rear subframe mounts are stiffer than the factory rubber bushings. With a stiffer bushing there is less deflection and change, especially under load. And since these bushings are isolated away from the wheel there is no change in ride quality.

Subframe mounts and bushings are at the heart of the rear suspension on the 1997-2003 E39 525i, 528i, 530i, 540i, and M5. Since every rear suspension arm is connected to the subframe, suspension performance is tied in with these mounts. If the subframe moves or shifts, especially on worn or tired mounts, the rest of the suspension and alignment settings are affected. BMW M cars eliminated rubber subframe mounts entirely starting with the F10 M5 and the subframe is now bolted directly to the body of the car.

These bushings replace factory BMW part number 33311091422. Press out the old bushing and install these new ones. These are complete bushings that offer another level of performance than the bushing inserts that are also available. With a limited lifetime warranty you will never have to pay for new subframe mounts again.
