As part of Eibach's E39 performance suspension program they developed these tubular steel performance sway bars. Eibach sway bars for the E39 525i, 528i, and 530i complement existing suspension modifications such as sport or lowering springs and performance shocks. The larger and stiffer steel bars reduce body roll, improve steering turn-in, and keep the tires in better contact with the road. Eibach has tuned these sway bars to strike a balance between improved handling and ride comfort. Bigger sway bars may perform better on a road course but you pay the price on the street.
E39 Eibach sway bars are adjustable on the front bar. This allows you to fine-tune the handling to better match your other suspension settings or wheel/tire setup. Set your sway bar link to the inner hole for a stiffer setting; the outer hole for a softer rate.
Urethane bushings and installation hardware complete the kit.
