H&R Front 27mm Sway Bar Upgrade - E85/E86 Z4 2.5/3.0/3.0si

The H&R front Sway Bar for the E85/E86 Z4 is a larger 27mm diameter to provide more leverage to better control body motions and keep the tires planted squarely on the pavement. Two positions are available to fine-tune the bar's stiffness. Larger sway bars reduce body roll and weight transfer, improving handling, grip, and steering response. H&R sway bars fit in the stock locations with the original sway bar links and include H&R's exclusive Teflon-lined urethane bushings that require no grease or maintenance. Adjustable links are available and recommended with coil overs or to improve clearance. BimmerWorld recommends sway bars be upgraded after installing a spring/shock upgrade or coil overs, although it's possible to use this with your stock springs and still get a handling improvement.

H&R sway bars are developed and manufactured in Germany to ISO 9001 and TUV standards from the highest tensile spring steel alloy available. Spring steel has the correct strength, stiffness, and spring characteristics for sway bar use. Purpose-built machines manufacture the bars to exact tolerances to ensure a precise fit and correct operation to ensure improved performance for every application. Each bar is heat treated and shot peened for increased surface hardness and then powder coated for long lasting durability.
