Tie Rod, Rein - E70 X5, E71 X6

Often overlooked, the tie rod assembly is absolutely crucial for optimal steering feel and overall safety of the vehicle. Once worn, it creates imprecise steering and can lead to a very unsafe situation. Worn tie rods with play or damage will fail most annual inspections, as they are a safety concern.

This part number fits either the left or right side.

For this reason, we suggest a close annual inspection* of the inner and outer tie rod joints to check for play or damage, especially on a track-driven vehicle. We recommend replacing the tie rods as a complete assembly only, as the inner and outer joints tend to have a similar service life.
