Rear outer ball joint for E39, E60, E63, E38, E65, E53, Z8 models. This is the ball joint located at the bottom of the outer wheel carrier/hub. When worn, stock ball joints give a disconnected and mushy feel to the suspension. You get thunk and clunk noises, vibrations, and poor handling which makes the car feel unstable. New ball joints restore the original ride and handling. The left and right ball joints are the same but they are sold individually.

This is an OEM rear ball joint manufactured by an original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other ball joints. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved.
