Front Left Tension Strut with Bushing, Delphi - F25 X3, F26 X4

Left Front Upper Control Arm (Tension Strut) With Rubber Bushing fits all F25 X3 and F26 X4, including 28i, 35i, and M40i.

The outer end of this control arm fits onto the lower ball joint, which is mounted to the bottom of the steering knuckle (outer ball joint sold separately). 

The inner bushing is often replaced when the rubber degrades over time or from rough pavement. The bushing can no longer dampen suspension movement and you end up with a steering vibration, imprecise steering feel, and sloppy handling.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many suspension components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
