The E70 X5 and E71 X6 suffer from pre-mature wear with the factory front control arm bushings. These are the BMW X5 models from 2007-2013, and BMW X6 models from 2008-2014. This bushing wear creates a steering wheel shudder / vibration that can be felt during normal driving and braking and also affect tire wear. This bushing is located at the back of the front control arm and is the key component for preventing excess NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) from entering the cabin.
