Front Tension Strut Bushing (FCAB), Lemforder - E53 X5 3.0i 4.4i 4.6is 4.8is

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 31126769715 (31-12-6-769-715) and is described as Front Upper Control Arm Bushing (FCAB), OEM Rubber  for the first generation E53 X5 models including X5 3.0i, X5 4.4i, X5 4.6is, and X5 4.8is as offered in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006.

The inner bushing is often replaced when the rubber degrades over time or from rough pavement. The bushing can no longer dampen suspension movement and you end up with a steering vibration, imprecise steering feel, and sloppy handling. 

This control arm bushing is sold individually. There are two per car. Be sure to order two if you are doing an overhaul.
