BMW Jack Pad - E46, E63, E65, X3, X5, Z4

This is the jack pad used on all E46, E83 X3, E53 X5, and Z4. It also fits the front jack point on E63 6-series and E65 7-series (the rear point uses a different jack pad). This hard plastic block sits on the underside of the rocker panel and provides the best place to position jack stands, a floor jack, or lift arms. We also recommend jacking the E46 by the hard points on the front and rear axles and only using the rocker panel points for the jack stands.

By using the jack pad you can be sure the floor and undercarriage won't get scratched or damaged, exposing the bare metal and risking rust and corrosion. Your car originally came with 4 jack pads but they fall out or get damaged.
