Warehouse Shipping Associate

Department: Shipping and Receiving

Reports To: Shipping Lead

Overall Responsibility:
Record shipment data such as weight and dimensions; pulling, picking, packing outgoing shipments (including large items such as exhausts)

Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing for long periods of time, frequent bending, frequent heavy lifting (50 lbs. +) climbing tall ladders

Classification:
Non-Exempt

Key Job Duties:
● Packing, sealing, and labeling materials for transport
● Using hand tools and/or power tools
● Assists in receiving department if necessary
● Performs other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
● Maintains regular and prompt attendance

Educational Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent

Required Skills and Experience:
● Work efficiently with or without supervision
● Following instruction and procedures
● Ability to lift heavy objects or packages (over 50 lbs.)
● Proficient time-management
