These Premium Race Wheel Studs and Nuts are what serious racers and track enthusiasts want for wheel mounting. These studs have greater strength and durability than our standard Street studs - especially when subjected to repeated abuse from impact guns. While our standard studs work great for the casual enthusiast and the occassional track day, small details in a Premium stud are appreciated when taking your car to the next level or beyond. 92mm studs are intended to work with large wheel spacers up to 25mm thickness with full nut engagement.
Racing conditions mean studs take a lot more abuse than seen on a typical street application. Our Premium Bullet Nose wheel studs are simply stronger and a higher grade than standard studs. Our stud specs are truly impressive: heat-treated, 12.9 grade, high-tensile 190,000 psi strength, Chromoly steel, which is shot-peened for additional strength and individually double magnaflux inspected. Additional design features help prevent the typical stress risers caused by threading the stud into a steel hub. The threads are phosphate and oil coated, and are rolled instead of cut which results in a smoother engagement with fewer imperfections. Anaerobic threadlocker is pre-applied which eliminates the need for additional Loctite. The black wheel nuts are zinc coated to resist corrosion, and they have a M12x1.5 thread and 60 degree taper to fit all BMW-applicable wheels.
Package includes 20 studs, 20 lug nuts, and 2 stud install nuts.

Product Note: These wheel studs are intended for track/race applications where frequent wheel changes occur. These studs do not have a cosmetic finish applied. If used on street applications, especially in the winter, light surface oxidation/discoloration may occur. If your intent is for street use we recommend using our street line of studs.
“What is the BMW wheel nut torque?” Our torque spec for wheel nuts (not bolts) is 75ft-lbs done when the nuts and wheel are cold (ambient temp). Do not torque when the nuts are hot and do not exceed 75ft-lbs. Remember that nuts - and studs - are consumables and should be inspected and replaced periodically. See our instructions link above for complete stud and nut installation guidelines.
