Flow-formed construction - high strength but low weight (approx 18.5 lbs)
Enkei ("en-kay") uses the latest flow-form manufacturing process to produce a light weight, strong, G20 wheel with the strength and lightness for track or autocross. Flow-form wheels have many elements from forged wheels but in a more economical price range. The process is similar to casting but with a tighter grain structure that makes the wheel stronger, similar to a true forged wheel. The superior process far surpasses older designs that use a straight casting process.
G20 / G22 / G42 Wheel Options -
18x8.5 ET35 = easy fit on front or rear (front might want 12-15mm spacers for aesthetic flush fit)
18x8.5 ET45 = easy fit on rear (12-15mm spacers recommended) but large spacers required on the front (20-25mm)
18x9.0 ET25 = snug fit on front and rear (no spacers required but more negative camber or minor trimming of plastic fender liners may be required)
18x9.5 ET45 = rear fitment only (for staggered sets)
BimmerWorld recommendation: an 8.5 ET35/9.5 ET45 staggered set would look outstanding on the G20. You have the option of adding a front spacer or using it without. A 9.0 ET25 square set is recommended for autocross or track use, and is an easy fitment especially if using front camber plates anyway.
All wheels are the flat face profile (not much concave profile).
Wheel center caps are not included (see Related Items below).
Wheel bolts are not included but original BMW bolts can be re-used. Ensure there is 14mm of threads available for proper tightening.
