Maxilite X Spoke Euroweave Wheel - 16x8" ET28 4x100 - E30 (Rear Fitment)

If you're shopping for an exceptional "OEM Plus" type look -- one that looks correct for the vintage of your BMW, but still is a size upgrade from what was typically available, then look no further. The Maxilite X-Spoke design gives you the fitment and size you want, in the handsome factory BBS-made factory style you already know and love. While the stock factory basketweave on US-spec cars is typically only a 14", now you can upgrade the visual appeal and handling with this larger diameter version from Maxilite. 

The BimmerWorld View: For those that love the X Spoke design, but want the ability to use a wider tire, this can be a great option. But order carefully! This is a more aggressive size which may need added camber or bodywork tweaks. If you want the safer fitment, the 7" width might be your better option. 

This larger diameter basketweave is often called a Euroweave, and looks fantastic on 4-lug applications like the non-M E30 models (318i, 318is, 325, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, and 325ic Convertible), and can also be use on the classic 1600 / 2002 / 2002tii, as well as the E21 3 series (additional spacers may be advised or necessary). 

Fitment Considerations (Aggressive Fitment)
This particular size (16x8 ET28) is designed to fit well on the REAR of the E30 3 series RWD models, and usually can be used with stock suspension and bodywork. We would consider this a more aggressive fitment for those who want a staggered look. We have also seen this wheel be use on the front, but it will require 5mm (or larger) spacer, and may have other fitment considerations depending on your car's setup, suspension, and tire selection.  

This wheel could also be used on the E21 3 Series or the classic 2002/2002tii models, but planning and measurement MUST be performed on your side to ensure fitment for your car. Avoid costly returns, exchanges, and restock fees by doing your research up front, or discussing with our sales department prior to ordering for.
