Analog Clock For BMW E30 3-Series 1986+

This Genuine BMW Analog Clock takes the place of the factory 6-button or 13-button OBC (On-Board Computer). This listing is for one brand new (never used, in the package) analog clock unit. There are only a very small number of "new" clocks, and while you can find less expensive examples in the secondary / used market, this one is still new, assuring you a perfect example and many many years of operation. 

Officially not available from BMW any longer! We recently scoured Europe to find some more, new in the box, and found a VERY limited number of these "new old stock" clock units, keeping them alive a little longer. Once they are gone the only option is to buy a second-hand / used one. 

The original OBC is commonly known to have failure of the LCD display.  BMW still offers the replacement OBC, but it is outrageously expensive, and still doesn't look as nice as this Analog Clock. Converting to this clock is relatively easy, and will give your dashboard a refined and classy look.

To install, you will need to also order the Mounting Bracket - Part # 621313880009 (See Related Items Below).  

Wiring:
Since the Analog Clock only uses 4 wires, the installation will require you to source a donor wiring harness that you can tap into the appropriate wires on your car's original harness. Many customers use an E30 power mirror harness, which plugs right into the Analog Clock with little modification. This harness is not available from BMW, but is easy to find in a salvage yard.  The mirror harness has 2 guide tabs that need to be removed, and you will need to pay attention to the wiring, since the wire colors won't match up to the car's original OBC wiring.  Overall, this is a very easy modification. This item fits E30 318i, 318is, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ic. 325ix, and M3 - Model Years 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992(convertible), and 1993(convertible).
