This sensor automatically detects fogging of the windshield and activates the HVAC system. If the inside of your windshield is fogging excessively it may be time for a new anti-fog sensor.

Note: professional installation recommended. Replacement requires taking apart the rearview mirror housing. The original sensor is fixed in place with adhesive, which requires heat to remove.
